Biography

Md Shahriar Shakir Sumit is currently employed as a full-time Ph.D. research scholar at The University of New South Wales (UNSW), Canberra, Australia . He holds a Master of Science degree (by research) in Computer and Information Sciences from the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Perak, Malaysia with a focus on object detection.

Shahriar completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering at the American International University Bangladesh (AIUB) in 2016. Following his undergraduate studies, he gained two years of experience as a Software Engineer. His research interests encompass a wide range of topics within computer science, including computer vision, image and video processing, object detection, tracking, missing values imputation, and deep learning.
